The World Gourmet Summit (WGS) is one of Asia’s most highly anticipated food and wine festival and a fantastic opportunity to see what’s hot and happening in the global gastronomic landscape.
Running from April 2 to April 29, WGS is now in its 22nd year, with this year’s festival themed “The Discovery WGS”, which aims to take diners off the beaten track to explore some the world’s lesser known and exciting cuisines, presented by a stellar group of masterchefs along with up-and-coming as well as established culinary stars from Asia, Eastern and Central Europe and America.
WGS’ opening reception was held at One Farrer Hotel & Spa on 3rd April 2018, with a huge turn up of about 900 guests. Angliss Singapore is ecstatic to be one of the official gourmet partners for the event; showcasing our latest cooking oil products from our recent exclusive partnership with Bunge FarmOrigin, our newest in-house live seafood brand – DelicaSea, as well as a tasting session for one of our popular meat brands – National Beef.
Aside from the dazzling awards of excellence presentation ceremony honouring 30 outstanding individuals from the Food & Beverage (F&B) and Hospitality industries for their professionalism, exemplary service and innovations, the greatest highlight of the night had to be the array of exotic, picturesque creations from various reputable chefs, featuring a variety of quality ingredients from Angliss, ranging from succulent meats to fresh seafood!
The night was indeed a wonderful platform to network, experience sensational culinary excitements and showcase culinary products and inspirations to date.
