  • Tender, healthy and extremely tasty: these are the 3 most precious attributes of Duroc D’olives pork. Duroc has the combination of a very special breed of pig and sophisticated diet to thank for this. The duroc pig, recognizable from its reddish-brown skin and drooping ears has more fat between its muscles. This increases the tenderness of the typically marbled flesh. Its feed is a mixture of wheat, barley and maize, with added olive oil. This southern ingredient not only improves the taste, but also consists of more than 50% oleic acid, which is healthy, mono-unsaturated fatty acid. Since opening its doors 1982, production has grown due to the popularity of the cheese and the factory has been extended numerous times to accommodate for the demand. The success of this cheese no doubt comes from the passion and drive of the brothers who learned the secrets of making the finest Italian cheese as young teenagers.
  • Bega is the number 1 selling cheese brand in Australia, producing both natural and processed cheese products which range from value-added cheeses including cheddar cheese retail packs and processed cheese products to individually wrapped slices and slice on slice products for food service outlets. Bega’s all natural cheddar cheeses are made with non-animal rennet and is vegetarian and Halal approved.
